Web Development - Kembara Bumi

Kembara Bumi is a travel website that brings the beauty and richness of East Java ecotourism to its visitors. With a focus on responsible travel experiences, the website offers comprehensive information on the amazing ecotourism destinations in the East Java region. From nature adventures to engagement with local communities, Kembara Bumi presents a wide selection of eco-friendly destinations, allowing visitors to explore the beauty of nature while supporting environmental conservation and the sustainability of local cultures.

Kembara Bumi features and functionalities:
• User and partner (tourism site manager) registration.
• Recommendations and list of ecotourism destinations in East Java to users.
• Insight and knowledge about the tourist attractions offered.
• Booking and bundling of available tour packages.
• Calendar of events around tourist sites that can be visited.
• Travel blogs containing traveler experiences and reviews.
• Offers of local souvenirs and specialties from the area.

Kembara Bumi was crafted with a fairly minimalist design featuring a green and brown color palette. The green and brown colors were chosen because they symbolize a beautiful earth where the brown soil is overgrown by green trees, just like the purpose of this application itself which promotes ecotourism to its users.

Kembara Bumi is an Information Systems Analysis and Design course project by Clara Clarita Yung, Hanifah Rahmajati, and Syifa Nailla Nuha, built in Laravel.

During the website development, I was responsible for conducting UX research, creating UI design (wireframe, HiFi, and prototype), navigating user flow, and developing the front end of this website.

Technology/skills involved: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Figma, Laravel, API, UI/UX research and design, website development
